Statutory Warranties
All works will be completed in accordance with the relevant Australian Standards. Thecontractor warrants that all work will be performed with:
Reasonable care and skill
Suitable, compliant materials
Compliance with all relevant laws, codes and regulations
Workmanship Warranty
Effective from the Practical Completion date:
Waterproofing & structural components: 6 years
This Covers: tiling installation, waterproofing membranes, plumbing connections installed as part of the renovation,
General workmanship: 12 months
This includes cabinetry installation, silicone sealing, and fixtures installed by the contractor.
Manufacturer Warranties
All fixtures, fittings and appliances supplied are covered by their respective manufacturerwarranties.
Defects Liability Period
A 12 month defects liability period applies from the Practical Completion date.
Existing Building Condition
The contractor is not responsible for issues arising from preexisting conditions such asbuilding movement, ageing plumbing, substrate failure, or hidden structural issues.
Tile, stone & Grout Variation
Natural variations in tile shade, pattern, and grout colour may occur. Minor lippage within Australian Standards is acceptable.
Silicone & Grout Maintenance
Silicone and grout require ongoing maintenance and periodic resealing. This is normal andnot considered a defect. Silicone should be replaced every 12 to 18 months to a suitable standard to prevent voiding warranty.
Waterproofing Protection
Do not drill or fix items into tiled surfaces without professional advice. Damage caused by penetrating the waterproofing membrane is not covered.
Exclusions
This warranty does not cover misuse, accidental damage, insufficient ventilation, lack ofcleaning, harsh chemicals, normal wear and tear, work by other trades, or homeownermodifications.
Limitation of Liability
Liability is limited to repairing or replacing defective workmanship. Consequential damage isexcluded to the extent permitted by law.
Transferability
This warranty transfers with the property for the remainder of the warranty period.
Care & Maintenance Guide
Tiles stone & Grout
Clean with pH neutral cleaners.
Avoid acidic or abrasive products.
Grout may require periodic steam cleaning or regrouting.
Silicone Joints
Clean with mild detergent.
Expect to reseal showers every 12–18 months.
Discolouration or shrinkage is normal.
Waterproofing Protection
Do not drill into tiled surfaces without professional advice.
Use adhesive mounted accessories where possible.
Shower Screens
Use glasssafe cleaners.
Squeegee after each use.
Replace worn seals as needed.
Tapware & Fixtures
Clean with mild soapy water.
Avoid harsh chemicals.
Wipe dry to prevent spotting.
Cabinetry & Vanities
Keep dry.
Avoid prolonged moisture exposure.
Do not place hot appliances directly on benchtops.
Stone, Porcelain & Composite Surfaces
Use pH neutral cleaners.
Avoid acidic or abrasive products.
Use cutting boards and trivets.
Ventilation
Run exhaust fans during and 20 minutes after showers.
Clean fan grilles regularly.
General Upkeep
Use bathmats to reduce water pooling.
Avoid dragging heavy items across floors.
Inspect seals and grout periodically.
